INTERBEATZ
Interbeatz Dance Crew UTP was first established in the year 2009 with the aim to promote and showcase the art and culture of hip hop among the students of UTP. The crew constantly keep active by recruiting new members via auditions held annually, where all UTP students, and sometimes even staff, are welcome to try out. Experiences have been gained and achievements have been made, and the crew will continue carrying its mission in the future.

MUHANDIS
UTP’s very own nasyeed group, Muhandis, emerged among engineers and the name itself reflects this as it is a literal translation of the Arabic word which means engineer. Their capability in bringing back the ‘acapella’ and delivering meaningful nasyid songs in a unique tone and tune attract others and made them as one of the favoured nasyeed team all around Malaysia. Definition of Munsyid is an association of all professional nasyid singers around Malaysia.



SANGEETH
Sangeeth is an Indian cultural club, established back in 1998. Sangeeth’s main focus has been to showcase Indian culture and tradition to UTP students of all races. Sangeeth lives by a 3C motto: Culture, Competition and Charity and has many divisions under such as Sangeeth Bhajans, Sangeeth Orchestra and Rasta.

TRONOH THEATRE SHOP
Tronoh Theatre Shop is an art club that does a performance based on theatre and are well known mainly in Kuala Lumpur. The goals for TTS is to unleash the full potential inside students so that they are not afraid to be who they are and teach them some useful soft skills that will benefits them in working life.



UTP BORNEO CULTURAL CLUB
UTP Borneo Cultural club is the first club in UTP to showcase the diversity of Borneo and it will instill the value of inclusivity and representation in the UTP community. This cultural appreciation club will also serve to support and unite members of the Borneo cultural identity while helping the community to understand common misconceptions associated with the culture. This club also aims to create a better campus life experience in UTP for the Borneo community in UTP and introducing the culture to the students from the peninsular.

UTP CHINESE CULTURAL CLUB
UTP Chinese cultural club serves the purpose as a platform of opportunity to those, regardless of their race, background and nationality, who are interested to learn the Chinese cultures in UTP. By establishing this club, we hope that the Chinese traditions can be passed down to the future generations. The Chinese cultures are divided into different classes such as music, languages, martial arts, cuisines, calligraphy etc.



UTP CHINESE ORCHESTRA
UTP Chinese Orchestra (UTPCO) was established in February 2006 with the aim of promoting traditional Chinese culture and developing music and art skills among the students. Dedicated to the vision of becoming an elegant orchestra to flourish the colourful world of Chinese traditional music, arts and cultures and embed new cognition in all races, UTP Chinese Orchestra is united in its commitment to a higher level of achievement.

UTP PERFORMING ARTS GROUP (UPAG)
UTP Performing Arts Group or better known as UPAG was established in the year 2002 with the aim to promote and showcase the unique dances of beautiful different cultures of the people in Malaysia. UPAG has actively showcased and promoted unique arts and culture through numbers of performances and competitions ranging from university levels up to international levels.



UTP GAMELAN GROUP SANGGAR KIRANA
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Gamelan Group, Sanggar Kirana was officially established in February 2002 with the aim of promoting traditional Malay culture, developing music and rendering the art and music among varsity students. With the establishment of Sanggar Kirana and its mission to inspire, motivate, influence, educate and communicate with thousands of notes, Sanggar Kirana envisaged being an elegant gamelan group that produces encouraging sound and vibes that moved people towards excellence of performance.


UTP SRING ENSEMBLE
UTP String Ensemble (UTPSE) is a club consisting of string players. Established since 2016, UTPSE provides platform for music enthusiasts to perform in UTP’s major events and participate in competitions. Besides that, UTPSE gives the opportunity for students to nurture their talent and enhance their music skills, at the same time promotes string instruments to UTP students in leisure and competitive way. As an arts and culture-based club, we are specialised in performing instrumental music for various types
